Lifeinsurance.com.au sold today for $100,000 to an industry player Money.com.au who offers various financial services products. The domain sold for a wholesale price on the expired domain name auctions.
This sale tops off a stellar run for .au domain name sales, with other recent sales such as sleep.com.au for $100,000 and link.com.au for $66,000.
The domain was dropped by popular comparison service iSelect. Money.com.au sold for $400,000 last year.
We spoke with the CEO of the buyer, Shaun McGowan, who said:
