Welcome to Domain Name Junction (DNJ).
The idea to create a website that is positive and promotes the domain name industry was something that was put to me many times over the years. With some encouragement from friends in the industry, I decided to create this website to try achieve this mission.
The name, Domain Name Junction represents the place where different parts of the industry meet.
The Australian domain industry is bigger than many would think, from Registrars, Resellers, Domainers, Academics and other groups like Internet Australia, many thousands of people call this industry home. Over the coming months I hope to use this website as an outlet for many of these people from diverse backgrounds.
When I first entered the industry in the early 2000’s, there were not many Australian resources, so much of what I learnt was through people in the industry, who were generous with their time. I have not stopped learning since. I hope that I can give back to the industry.
Prior to launching this website, I was fortunate enough to have put together a collection of content, which I think will help people in the industry. I am also working on some more content, which will be posted in due course. I’m always open to ideas, so I look forward to hearing from readers of this website.
